Serpentine encompasses a group of magnesium, asbestos, and silicate minerals that form within Serpentinite rock. These minerals exhibit a wide range of colors, including various shades of green, brown, yellow, white, and grey. Some commonly recognized Serpentine minerals include Lizardite, Atlantisite, Greenstone, and Infinite.
Serpentine is a versatile stone that offers various benefits. It has the capacity to enhance meditative states, aiding in the retrieval of ancient wisdom and facilitating connections to the energies of ancient sites. This stone also plays a role in strengthening one's trust in intuition. Serpentine has a profound connection to nature, grounding individuals and enabling them to contact interdimensional beings. Engaging in meditation outdoors can amplify the earthen channeling effect that Serpentine emanates, providing an opportunity to connect with the interconnected spiritual energy that surrounds us.
I acquired this exquisite specimen at the Puyallup Valley Gem & Mineral Club (PVGAMC) and it hails from the Wild Turkey Mine found in the Magnesite Belt of NE Washington state. This is easily one of my favorites!
