FACT: Phone validation has been part of the DOC's adult in custody (AIC) communications process since 2012. During the pandemic, DOC suspended the registration requirements due to facility restrictions and feels that it is now time to reinstitute the phone validation process.
Phone Validation Process Reinstituted
On October 24, 2022, the validation requirement was paused until December 5, 2022. This will give people time to consider the requirement and validate their phone number. After December 5th, the validation will be a permanent process and a requirement for all. Go to ICSolutions.com to complete your phone number validation.
What We Learned About ICSolutions Phone Registration
Registration doesn't mean Validation.
Your phone number needs to be VALIDATED with ICSolutions for you to receive phone calls from someone in an Oregon state prison.
If you have issues validating your number or need any assistance with your ICSolutions account, contact customer support at 1-888-506-8407. The international customer service number for validating your phone number is 210-501-0115. If ICSolutions customer support does not resolve your issue, you can email Forest Ledbetter with ODOC at forest.l.ledbetter@doc.oregon.gov.
The verification deadline has been pushed out to Tuesday, December 27th. so as not to interfere with holiday season phone calls going smoothly through.
